Enjoy the ride to achieving your dreams!
I love this time of year for many reasons; in particular when the sun shines through after a long dull winter and the first signs of spring are all around. It is so easy as we rush around with our busy lives to miss the small things and take these blessing for granted. We can be so quick to grumble about the heat in the summer and the rain in the winter, but where would we be without either?
Over this Easter weekend, I feel very grateful for the good things I have; it's nearly 2 years since I set up my own business to write children's books - the best job in the world. I know that when I am grateful, even if things are not quite perfect, then more blessings will come my way. As James Redfield observes, 'energy flows where attention goes'. I know that our lives may sometimes take an unexpected direction, but the key is to try and be positive and flexible on the journey to our dreams. Maybe the road will twist and turn, like a good novel, so hold on and enjoy the ride!
So, whatever you are doing this Easter weekend, take a few minutes to be grateful for all the blessings that you have, big and small, and see how focusing on these good things can lift your spirits; like the sun on a cloudy day.
I wish you all a very happy Easter and hope your lives are full of blessings.
